DAY 5

Today We didnt get a lot of time so we only got a couple things done. First me, Rebecca, and Angalina worked on the printing stuff out for the wind energy bored. It was boaring and when I get bored i just walk around or do something else. We only got about fourty five minutes to work but we had all ready finished our working model so we are doing really good. We are doing really good because our group has two energy sources, Wind and Biomass so we have two models and two boards. So over all we are doing really well but sometimes its really boring.

FORTH DAY

Today we got our new earth magnet. Well we got it half way through the time because miss lopaz was helping another group. While Grant and Jaben did that me, rebecca, and alysia worked on the board for the wind turbine. Vincent was also working in the hall way on his board for his group and taking pictures of us. We just listened to some music while we worked. Then we got a little bit distracted because people who we know kept walking by and talking to us. While we were working on the board Jaben and Grant got the last magnet glued down then tested it to see if it worked and it did.

THIRD DAY

Today was the third day of building and we didnt get much done. We hade split these super duper strong earth magnets. We got two of them apart and then you have to put them about five to ten feet apart and if they come together and your hand is imbetween them they can break your fingers. When we were pulling those last two we got them then they went together, so we had to do it again, and when we did one dropped from knee hight and broke and they are fifty dollars a peice. So for the rest of the time we helped the girls with the poster board and it was really boring. I Dont think we can finish tomorrow but we will try to find somthing else to use besides the super duper earth magnets. I hope and think we will be done by exibition in less than two weeks. I hope we can get the earth magnets. This project is going to be cool!

Second Day

Today was the second day of building and we were very productive today. Yesterday we started our coiling. Today we kept coiling and coiling for about twenty to thirty minutes, it was very boring. While we did that I also helped the girls out with the trifold board. They had so far gottin three or four things glued and started a boarder made out of leaves. It looks preaty cool. Once they were done coiling we had to slide each coil of the peice of cardboard and tape them a little bit so they didn't fall apart. Then we had to shave the end of the wire so it wasnt any of the wrapping on it. Then had to test is to see if it even worked and it did. Next we glued them down to the base. The last step we got to today was scrapping of the rubber of electrical wire of a led christmas light, and attached the copper wire and the electrical wire together and started to clean up our mess. Last we headed out to break.

First Day of Building

Today we started to build our wind turbine. While Rebecca and Angilina worked on a poster board Grant, Jaben, Mr. Rosenberg and I started to work on the first few steps of building. First we drew a couple things on our board then started really building. Then we started to hot glue the base stand together. After we got up and down geting supplies we didn't have we finished that part up. The next step was wrapping wire around a peice of cardboard. We had to do four coils of two hundred wraps. It was boring after the first one. Then we were saved by snack time and have to continue tomorrow morning. I so far have learned how dangerous somethings can be, for example we have to work with magnets that are so strong they can break your bones.
